Well, it's almost that time again. Goin' back to good ol' Williamsport, PA to Lycoming. I'm looking forward to it BIG time. For me, it's like going on vacation because my summer has been taken up by working 100+ hours a week. Well, anywho, my schedule doesn't pose too big of a problem, nothing too time consuming:
1 ECON-331-A Intermediate Macroeconomics Tuesday, Thursday 09:45AM - 11:35AM,
2 MATH-332-A Mathematical Statistics Monday, Wednesday, Friday 09:00AM - 10:05AM,
Recitation Tuesday 08:45AM - 09:35AM,
3 SPAN-325-A Survey Spanish-Americn Lit/Civ Monday, Wednesday 02:00PM - 03:50PM,
4 ACCT-110-B Elementary Accounting Theory Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10:15AM-11:20AM
oh, and Concert Band. I'm still debating my majors and minors, right now I'm officially majoring in Actuarial Mathematics and Spanish. I would like to add a regular Mathematics major(only two more courses outside of Actuarial Math) and possibly a minor in Accounting or Computer Sci.
My roomates are awesome, this year I'm living in a double, which is two rooms connected by a bathroom. The kid living in my room, Bill, is an awesome kid. We became really good friends last year, he's a wide receiver on the football team. The two kids who live in the room next to us are also are good friends, Matt and Dave, both basketball players on the team.
Overall, I'm PSYCHED to get back to school, no more waking up at dreadful hours, working ridiculous hours, and being able to do what I want when I want. I move in on Saturday and work up until Friday. I'm pissed I didn't take off next week. I started the summer out with 0 DVDs and now I have almost 40. I've burned a few and bought a few. I'm bringing my Civic to school with me so I'll be able to take a few more trips to the WB to see my friends and Philly to see Curtis, James, and Dillon.
My good friend at work just had her baby yesterday, we went and saw it. I've never seen a real newborn baby, they're pretty cute. I got to hold it and stuff. Anyways, I really should be doing some Statistical Reporting, but instead I'm sitting in my cube doing some journal updating. It's ok, my boss is gone today.

P.S. - I think I'm going to build my own computer soon. Any ideas? Or, if I need any help does anyone know a lot about it? |

i think i shouldve taken a week of from work before school starts like other people did.
shit.
i have two more weeks of work, both at penn national and hollywood video. what do i have to show for working so much this summer? really not too much. i had to pay to get my car fixed, around 1,200 dollars. argh. well, i do have a new mousepad, a new mouse on the way, and a few new DVDs.
i think im just complaining about work because today i work from
7:30 - 4:00 pm at Penn National Insurance..
then
4:30 - 1:00 am at Hollywood Video.

I'm currently at work. I'm extremely bored -- I have three actuaries as bosses and all of them are off/vacation today. So, in turn, I'm being pretty lazy.
My co-workers here are hilarious. I'll post some pictures of my workplace soon. I work with three ladies who are around 25-35 and they remind me of high school girls. They make the day go by a little faster with funny e-mails and conversations.
I worked last night and the night before from 6pm - 1am. It pretty much took everything outta me, going on 5 hours of sleep to take part in my full time job 7:30 - 4. My co-workers at Hollywood Video are alright.. a little strange, but that's life.
A woman came in yesterday and rented 4 movies, which is normal, but that wasn't everything. On the way out she realized that she had a free rain check for the movie "Constantine". So, I said go ahead and grab it and I'll check you out again. While checking her out she noticed our flyer for the 9.99 two movie, two popcorns, a candy, and a soda deal.
her - "Can I get that 9.99 deal?"
me - "Well, if you grab another movie, because now you only have one"
her - "I just checked 4 movies out"
me - "Yes but that transaction is already completed, and all of the bundles are computer driven, therefore the computer sees two movies and the candy and reduces the price. When you checked out first I asked you if you would like to get the popcorn, candy, and soda for 2 dollars more, you replied 'no'"
her - "Well can't you just ring those movies back in and check them back out?"
me - "I can do that, but I'd have to charge you again"
her - "No, just cancel the rentals"
me - "I can't cancel a rental and give the money back unless the movies were scratched or defected"
her - "So you're saying if I rent a movie, and decide I didn't really want to rent it, I can't get a refund?"
me - "That's correct."
her - "Wow, that's bullshit, give me my free movie (from the raincheck stated above), I'll be speaking to your manager about this."
me - "Ok ma'am. Have a nice night, would you like a bag?"
her - "Of course I want a bag."
me - "Alrighty, Hope you have a nice night! Enjoy the movies, they're due back on monday"

I noticed everyone slacks off when the boss isn't here. I walked around and everyone's just having conversations occassionally pretending to do work. I'm off to do anything but work!

Well, I'm currently at work at Pennsylvania National Mutual Casualty Insurance Company. I recently discovered that our website blocker doesn't block LiveJournal so I know what's going to keep me busy for the next few weeks.
I'm working two jobs this summer, one here at Penn Natl. and another one at Hollywood Video. I work full time here 7:30 - 4 every day and nights and weekends at Hollywood. Hollywood fucks me on hours, like this week i worked from 6:00 - 1am on monday and tuesday. Then I get to work in the morning at Penn Natl. and am extremely tired. Anyways, that's life. I need the money though.
I need the money because I just got my nice little red honda civic a new head gasket and tires for around 1050.00$. Ughhhhhhhhhhh Anyways at least it's back now so when Hollywood decides not to schedule me on a weekend I can get my ass up to Wilkes-Barre to viist my friends.

i am teh bored.
today was a neat day. republican brian osick and democrat mike dillon got at my house at around 9:50 closer to 10. from my house, them my brother and I departed for the Warped Tour (home of the sweaty/fat/obnoxious/smelly/"punk" teenie boppers and bored middle aged men). we quickly found the ernie ball stage and discovered PJ and the googlie eyes were playing (Benton). We watched them ROCK TEH SOX and then we walked around.
Purchase #1 - 2 Hamburgers and a Lemonade $12.00 Fun Level - 3/10
My brother and I were hungry, and our little republican was just aching for a drink. So we ordered some food and drink and got a free hamburger out of the deal. After this we traveled to the main stages to watch the end of some band which i forget tha name of. Next i think sugar cult went on. when they started playing i soon felt the crowd swaying and me being uncontrollably forced to come in contact with numerous sweaty fat people HARDCORE PUNCK ROCKERS! I figured that it would be best to stay away from them so I wouldnt get diseases so I traveled to the middle of the pit to watch the next band. I think it was New Found Glory totally cool1!?!!?!?LK!L#$KL!?$@!@$L!L@$?K so then we watched them and watched some more musak like coheed and cambria and then taking back sunday came on. when they started playing it wasnt just uncontrollably being forced to come in contact with sweaty old people but being kicked in the face by ridiculous crowd surfers. i figured i better get out of here before i get stds so i escape to the back and watch the rest of taking back sunday

I hate yellow powerade but thats all the bastard of a salesperson had. I watched the rest of taking back sunday, eventually met up with my brother, the democrat, and the republican again. we watched Yellowcard (unfortuantely the band that I came to see because i've been a super cool fan of them since i saw them in florida with like 20 people 121515 years ago before they had fans) they put on a pretty sucky ass show but thats life.
Purchase #3 - 1 Water $3.00 Fun Level - 4/10
my brother was totally thirsty and he didnt have money, plus i owed him some, so i bought him a nice water. we finished up with yellowcard and then went to wander around again.

We wandered around some more, stopped and watched some under oath and then came home.

hmm, i havent updated in a while...
im going to the prom with julie mclaughlin, thats going to be neat.
my total scholarship to lycoming comes to about 16,000 out of 29,000 im really happy about that. :)
no new abortion stories, although i wish there was. maybe people are getting sick of my conservative views on abortion?
school really is getting awfully boring, i hate going anymore. its the same thing over and over again, so monotonous it almost brings your attitudes down, you get sick of it and hate it.
im helping out with the girls soccer team which is going to be fun, i need to keep in shape and keep my foot on the soccer ball as much as possible for lycoming, which im really getting excited about. im not sure how its going to turn out, but thats why its so invigorating.
as for me, i can say im actually pretty content. everythings going pretty well. ive been drinking these protein shakes which arent bad, and eating like a monster to try to gain some weight. ive also been doing some exercises to try to keep built and gain some mass.
i think im going to post a massive entry about whats going on sooner or later when i get around to it.

5 day weekend? who's complaining? not me.
thursday? i had kids over to play some cards.. 15 actually.. highlights were me winning 50 bucks, christian breaking my chair, and me winning 50 bucks.
friday? went to a basketball game for a little bit. oreilly had a rough night? =\ then went and drove around.
saturday? went to bradley chiquinas' surprise party. i beat joseph bitzer in pool. we played cards again, i won 30. i felt bad for taking the juniors money. after that i went to sleep at pats dorm which is always a good time. i went down the hall to take a peek at the drunkies. they put a huge hole in the wall because they were drunk. (and people ask me why i dont drink?).
sunday? woke up at around 8:30. mom called and told me she didnt want me driving out to dallas to watch my kid for CCD so i went home and hung out for most of the day. however i did go to mel m.'s to watch the eagles lose. what a good night. jen burns rome mary baker and kate rog was there. they attempted to play cards.. :P
monday? my mom came home and we watched some television and i sat around singing that damn song from family matters because its stuck in my head. sara came and dropped off some stuff :P she had to go to work and study with carissa, poor girl.
so ive won more money playing cards in 2 days then some people do working the whole weekend.. i sense an unhealthy addiction.
i think i need some more smallville to watch.. the first season is over and i feel that i need more. i dont think that i mentioned that i talked my parents into letting me go to senior week. im really looking forward to that. i feel that ive made some good friends up here and before we all go to college i think its going to be a good chance to spend some time with them. and who wouldnt want to be parentless for a week? mrs flaherty ordered us a house and we all made a downpayment.
i kinda miss my br0shay pat. its going to be rough next year with me and him and my family so far apart. we're a close knit family and its going to be interesting to see how it all works out. im sure ill talk to pat every day because i really do need to talk to him even though he probably doesnt know that. its good to have someone that stable in your life that you know you can always turn to. <3 for brothers.
------- speaking of next year its basically came down between a race between scranton and lycoming. now, lycoming is taking an edge over the competition. im going there to spend a night on january 31 to play a pick up soccer game and take a look at the math department. im nervous as hell. i hate shit like that. Oh, and I want to be an actuary. Lycoming has an Actuarial Sciences track.. although when i went there to visit they didnt know they had it. I had to convince them that they did. Then they realized that noone in the school is actually majoring in it. Maybe ill be the first :P
i think im excited to get to the next phase of my life. im kinda bored. high school is virtually over... just give me a diploma. now its just a matter of passing the rest of the tests and the social aspects.
i need to start running every day.. but i dont want to run.. anyone up for running in the bitter cold? just a mile or two a day?
im not looking forward to school tomorrow. maybe ill go to bed.
sigh ill probably just play counterstrike for an hour.

well anyways, christmas was a good time. we visited my grandparents, saw lots of relatives, i got some money. i already spent too much money, i hate spending money. so, instead, i spent all of my gift cards on clothes and what not.
however, i still want madden 2004 for the xbox.
tonight was a poker fiesta at finks. its really far away, i didnt win much but it was a good time. i dominated in madden 2004 for ps2.
in the last couple of days ive been going out doing pretty random things, hanging out with friends and what not.
oh shit i love smallville, maybe ill go finish the season up. ive finished gta3 and now im half way done through vice city, that really is not right.
pats been in florida since sunday and i think hes gone for a week, i hope he's having a good time. he hates being at home because he got so used to his dorm. but really its his loss to be in florida because he's missing the 40 degree weather in good ol' smoggy dirty ass wilkes barre.
anyways i think i have a lot to say, but its just not flowing through my fingers.. i really dont know if that makes sense. i think i have a lot of things floating in my head that i just cant get out. but maybe soon ill find out how to do that..
im going to either watch smallville or play gta.. what a life i lead..

I got un corte de pelo. The lady didn't speak much english, but I didn't really mind. I think the stylist was like.. maybe... Russian or something. I got it done at the mall which, by the way, was packed like milk today. I went up the counter and asked, "Do I have to have an appointment?" and she said "Do you have an appointment?" ... then I noticed a male stylist who had to be about 41 and he had curly hair like mine.. so I asked "Not to be sexist or anything, but is it possible to get my haircut done by that guy over there?" and she said "No." There wasn't any explanation or anything.. but I didn't want to ask. Well, it ends up that the lady who I asked if I could get my hair done by the guy was the one who cut my hair. However, I didn't mind the haircut even though I hate getting my haircut.
I really am extremely bored. We put up our arbol de navidad. We're getting into the spirit around the Austin house.. (lol?)
